Outcomes

1. Creative Lead Research

  • Conducting creative research into potential customers, identifying relevant leads to contact, and using a variety of online, phone and in-person strategies.
  • Proactively contact leads that are aligned with the marketing strategy and measurables.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and sales team to develop effective strategies for lead generation.
  • Identifying and creating new lead generation techniques in line with the latest market trends.

2. Outbound Business Development

  • Making daily outbound approaches in line with measurables to new potential A and B-class customers through social media, email, phone calls, potential customer visits, and trade shows.
  • Scheduling follow-up calls with potential customers and building strong and profitable relationships. Utilising initiative and rapport-building skills to gain commercial advantage and identify new opportunities.
  • Pro-actively maintain “warm touches” to facilitate customer qualification and identification of A and B-class potential customers.
  • Collaborating with the marketing and sales team to deliver optimised and coordinated assignment selling outreach.

3. Potential Customer Qualification

  • Nurture and pre-qualify potential A & B Class customers to deliver ideal leads into the estimation and account management pipeline.
  • Hold a deep uderstanding of Penta’s ideal customer persona to ensure the best outcome of leads generated.
  • Collaborating with the marketing and sales team to develop effective strategies for qualifying potential customers, and build ways to identify their needs, pain points, buying structure and behaviours.
  • Qualify new leads to develop strong partnerships and gain a commercial advantage.
  • Provide regular feedback at L10 meetings on customer responses and market trends.

4. Data Management

  • Structuring, updating and maintaining Penta’s CRM with accurate new customer details, including calls, visits, qualification data and next action steps.
  • Updating and syncing data in the CRM, marketing automation and Progress+ with contact details, preferences, and qualifying notes.
  • Using the Penta Way scorecard to deliver what a great day looks like and track progress in improving the numbers.
  • Working in line with GDPR guidelines.

5. Continuous Improvement of Department & Self

  • Keep up to date with market treds, technology, and potential opportunities for new business.
  • Challege the current ways of working to make improvements.
  • Red flag issues to be discussed, prepare, ad contribute at the weekly departmental L10 meetings.
  • Complete “to do’s” i 7 days and a minimum of two Rocks per quarter.
  • Work on self-development in business development, account management and industry skills and knowledge.
